I was hired as a media coordination intern for Advanced Laser in Chippewa Falls, WI in 2017. The internship lasted a span of a year and a half. The position consisted of me recreating a new website for the company, generating materials for their Facebook and LinkedIn, renovating and creating a museum exhibit and sitting on a board of directors for the company at a local museum.
THE MUSEUM
The museum exhibit was renovated by myself and a team from the museum. We took two previous exhibits and relocated them to a different spot in the building. We then removed two walls that were in the spaces and the carpeting. I then began removing the drop ceiling to reinstall a new style. I used inspiration from the office at Advanced Laser to mimic the new museum exhibit. Parts and examples of materials were created in the workshop and then used as displays for the museum.
Our team hired an electrician, a drop-ceiling expert and a graphics installation team to renovate the space. This was a huge learning experience for me in the professional world to understand how to manage numerous different teams.
Through this experience, I learned how to remove carpet, ceilings, how to fix holes, how to install new flooring and how to design large prints for commercial spaces. The museum consisted of a timeline of Advanced Laser, a tic-tac-toe game for interaction with visitors, work examples, a video and screen in a completely new place.

THE WEBSITE
I worked with a team after being hired to go over the website and evaluate what pieces were missing that customers would be searching for compared to competitors. From there, we spent about 40 hours and numerous recreations of the website to develop the one that worked the best for the company and it's clients. The website is still active today.
