I collaborated with a local yoga studio to paint a mural for their aerial yoga room to help bring the space to life. The idea started when I took an aerial yoga class and launched from there after a conversation. The original wall was a purple blank wall that was a quiet side piece of the room and now is used for photos, inspiration and brand recognition.
I started the planning process by collaborating with the studio owner, Shantel, to see what she had in mind for the wall, and then began digitally sketching on a photo to see if she would like the concept.
I then began by sketching the images into the space for a better idea of what the space was going to look like in person.
I then began adding in wall by wall the actual painting! From there the piece began to grow.
This mural was such a fun project to complete, especially to leave a little mark on Eau Claire, WI. Since completion, the mural has become a backdrop for so many talented people and poses!
