Renee Dick reached out to me via Instagram (@Mygirlfriendrenee) about creating t-shirt designs for her company. We released the designs on January 1, 2020 and were printed and now being sold via her website. The t-shirts were designed with female empowerment in mind.
The first design was to read, "Community over Competition". This means that we should be able to support one another instead of competing against each other. The inspiration was an electric look with a sweet, retro vibe.
We created another collaboration t-shirt design that quoted "Don't be afraid to stand out" This also has a graphic placed beside the text. These have now been sold to individuals through the Instagram platform. The goal of collaboration is to have a yearly subscription that would be fulfilled each month for 12 months with a t-shirt and sticker with each delivery.
At this time, we have completed 3/12 of the t-shirt designs with two that are printed and sent out, and another one that is currently in production.
